Get to Know Me
Considering my BFA in Creative Writing from University of the Arts, Songwriting minor,
and time at School of Visual Arts for Film, you can see that I am truly a "Jax" of all trades.
I have always had a knack for filmmaking, as is proven by my acceptances into
Monmouth Film Festival, Film Young Fest, Lighthouse Film Festival, and Fargo Film Festival.
Right out of high school, I took on freelance videography, building a vast portfolio of
promotional films for multiple businesses. This is also when I became serious about
songwriting; check out my original music on this website, Spotify, and other platforms.
After graduating college in 2024, I became a social media coordinator for
AllStates Restoration. At that company, I managed multiple social media accounts,
generated SEO-oriented copy and blog posts, and created original videos and graphics---
all while juggling administrative tasks.
Currently, I work two roles: I am a journalist for Hometown Connections Magazine (by which I have had over 60 articles
published), as well as a social media coordinator and marketer for Indigo Promotions. At Indigo, I manage the CEO’s social media accounts daily, singlehandedly producing video, photo, and graphic design content. On the marketing end, I regularly come up with strategies to increase audience engagement and attract new clients.
Above all else, I have an undying passion for communicating with the world, whether that is through writing, films,
or songs. Keep exploring this website to see what I truly have to offer with my diverse skill set and polished creative eye.
