Great design doesn’t always mean adding more. Sometimes, it’s about refining what’s already there. This project challenged us to distill something iconic into its simplest form while keeping the emotion and recognition intact. That balance is where great branding lives.

Projects like this remind me why I love what we do. When two iconic brands come together, it’s an opportunity to get creative and tell a story through design. For this one, we leaned into nostalgia and built something that felt fresh, fun, and completely unexpected. It’s proof that when strategy meets imagination, the results truly stand out.

There’s a moment in some projects where you can feel it click: The product looks great, everything is there... but it doesn’t feel fully on theme. With this MGM project, that's exactly where we found ourselves. Then, the smallest alteration changed everything for the better. It didn't take a full overhaul to elevate the item... Just one decision that matched the experience we were aiming for.

For this project, we wanted the packaging to shine as brightly as the products inside. So, we created a fully custom metallic bag designed specifically for Mac’s Dazzle collection. Every small detail in its design worked together to create a reveal that felt intentional and exciting. This is how merch becomes an experience… not an afterthought.
