About Arcanum

Arcanum is a short-story collection that explores the lives of troubled protagonists who seek validation in order to boost their damaged self-esteem— whether it be in the form of praise, sex, fame, or forgiveness. They will do whatever it takes to capture the attention of others or find some form of purpose, oftentimes resorting to dark and drastic measures with skewed morality behind their actions. These characters withhold secrets, bury regrets, and fabricate twisted paths to what they consider success.
