Good For You

I am a pea and you are a pea and it is so hot in our tight little pod but I like that if I inhale deep enough I can taste your vegetable breath on my microscopic tongue. I am a pea and you are a pea and we are hanging from a vine, pressed thin skin to thin skin, and I pray no one pierces their thumb nail into the seal of our casing so that we just might suffocate here together. I am a pea and you are a pea and we are so very small, but I hear if we eat each other we could get big and strong.
