Al Shoshany is a trailblazer at heart. He doesn’t come from a family of jewelers, but with a lifelong fascination for diamonds and jewelry making, there was no stopping him from taking the industry by storm.

Determined to make strides as a professional jeweler, Al enrolled in every possible course at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), where he formed a strong friendship with classmate Tyler Abe. As graduation neared, Al and Tyler realized their potential for great success if they were to join forces and showcase their respective strong suits in the field of gemology. Incredibly, only 4 years after graduating college, the two made that dream a reality.

Shoshany Jewelers was formally opened in 2018, owned by Al and managed by Tyler, who doubles as the company’s designer. The jewelry superstore has planted its roots in Morganville, New Jersey, where locals have come to know and love the staff like family. Aside from Al and Tyler, the team includes 3 hardworking assistants that greet customers with beaming smiles, as well as Bita Shoshany, who takes the reins on marketing. All in all, it’s a small but mighty team at Shoshany Jewelers, which gives the store a trustworthy mom-and-pop feel.
