​In 1987, Doreen moved to Holmdel, New Jersey, where she and her husband would come to raise their three daughters. At first, Doreen was working in the garment industry as a coat buyer, where she thrived on the creative nature of finding the best fabrics to fit specific styles and price points– a skill that would later come in handy when determining properties to best suit a buyer’s needs.

While she adored the fashion business, there came a point that family needed to come first. Doreen switched gears to support her three daughters, participating in several parent groups at their schools. She spent time as a CCD teacher and served on the Women’s Heart Fund committee at Hackensack Meridian Health. As her passion for assisting others grew, Doreen discovered a career path that allowed her to give back to her beloved community while also appealing to her eye for aesthetics. In 2012, she opened the door to the world of real estate and never looked back.

​ Once she procured her realtor’s license, Doreen wasted no time before diving headfirst into the industry. She quickly aligned herself with Gloria Nilson, now known as Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices. She soon qualified for a broker’s license, and passed the test on her very first try. This is a prime testament to Doreen’s commitment to continuing education, believing that no matter your level of work experience, there is always more to learn. Even now, she still takes classes, keeping up to date on the latest developments in the industry so she can properly educate clients about the buying process and confidently inform them on hotspots in the area.

With years under her belt of servicing Monmouth and Ocean Counties, Doreen knows very well that no two buyers are the same. She treats each new client with specialized attention and care, and her dedication to forming precious, one-on-one bonds has garnered incredible acclaim for her service. Doreen has received a multitude of awards throughout her real estate career, such as the NJ REALTORS Circle of Excellence Sales Award for 11 years in a row and 5 BHHS Chairman’s Circle awards, resulting in her receipt of the “Legend Award”— a very distinguished and coveted achievement awarded to BHHS agents.

​Above any awards or accolades, Doreen places the most value on connecting with people and having the honor of supporting them through a highly stressful period. She doesn’t take her role in her clients’ lives lightly, acknowledging the significance of helping someone settle into a new home that can bring them the joy they have always desired.
